Colours and Fonts

During the initial stages of developing our app, we held in-person discussions to determine which fonts and colours would best work for our target audience (young adults and teens with ADHD). We chose colours that we thought would be stimulating yet not distracting to pair with our visuals and buttons. Our font was selected to give a friendly and casual tone to our users while still being eligible.

TrackStacks

A task maker app targeted towards those with ADHD that I worked on with 5 other teammates; 2 coders and 3 other designers. It is designed to help those with ADHD focus on their daily tasks and personal goals with friendly reminders that they can customize. The app offers free earnable rewards that users earn by completing their tasks.

Buttons and Components

For our visual components we wanted them to stand out but not in a distracting way. One of our team members suggested utilizing New Brutalism. Which utilizes dark drop shadows to add visual flare to the items.

Layout

Cabin Page

This page allows you to customize and add accesories earned from completing tasks from the app. My colleague worked on the visual art used for it and I worked on the UI/UX elements.

Tutorial Page

For the tutorial page, I wanted to have the prompts be supportive and give insight to our users while being clear and what information they will receive.

Task Page

I referenced other task apps and made a layout of the components that I thought were necessary for the project.

03

Log in Page

We decided to have the log in page to be simple and effective. Text is readable on all screens and contains no confusing characters or symbols.

Calendar Page

This page gives users access to allocating which task should be due or how much progress should be made. It allows for editing, rescheduling and allocating tags.

Profile Page

The profile page gives the option to have a partner or parent that can monitor access and be responsible to check off tasks if you choose.
